Greek Design: Athena Procopiou

Procopiou is a Greek-born, British-based young designer known for her fabulously colourful prints, evocative of her Hellenic heritage. Normally very expensive because of her limited quantities and the high quality of her work, I spotted these heavily reduced sale bargains.

The advantage of going to the Fellah Hotel is that one needs few clothes, so I can fill my suitcase with suntan lotions and other potions from Cult Beauty ... but whilst taking a kaftan to Marrakech may sound like taking coals to Newcastle, this is the ideal one to throw over a white bikini. It may not yet be warm enough to lounge in the sunshine in Greece, but if I can't go to Greece I might as well take a piece of it to Africa.

I'm thinking about it ... but I did snap up this Todos Santos scarf from the designer's London-based web site (no affiliate links): £295 £85 here. I love the classicism of the Ikat pattern, contrasting with the use of a Mykonos blue and warm oranges that will ease the transition to spring.
The Athena Propcopiou sale section on her own web site is worth browsing through as it has the most glorious selection of scarfs and some beachwear at up to 80% off: here.

I do not moderate comments, but I remove spam, overt self-promotion ("read [link] my much better post on this") and what I consider hate speech (racism, homophobia etc).
