INVITATION

Aspects of Ancient Greek Cult II: Architecture – Context –
Musicisaninterdisciplinaryand international conference drawing
participants from across the fields of Classical Archaeology, Classical
Philology, Ancient History, Architecture and Musicology. The purpose of
the conference is tofoster a joint, transdisciplinary investigation of
aspects of ancient Greek cult.

The keynote speakers are Erik Hansen,Professor emeritus, the Royal
Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture,Mark Wilson Jones,
Senior Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Bath andDominique
Mulliez, former Director of École Française D'Athènes. Final remarks
will be delivered by Richard Hamilton,Paul Shorey ProfessorEmeritus of
Greek at Bryn Mawr College and founder and Senior Editor of the Bryn
Mawr Classical Review.

Presentations

Each speaker will have 45 minutes available for their total presentation
and discussion. Approximately 30 minutes will be for each presentation;
the remaining time should be used for questions and discussion.
