Securitisation and the Parthenon

An interesting article in today's FT here, and more discussion at Adrian Murdoch's blog: Can you securitise the Parthenon?
The proposal had been to securitise future revenue from the Parthenon's ticket sales, not sell the building itself, but it does put attempts by the Greeks to demand the Elgin Marbles back in a new light.
